Nikon N90s, Fujichrome, daylight exposure, tripod.
I can't remember if I used the 300 f4, or 80-200 2.8D here. Slight crop.

This is from a captive shoot in Montana many years back. The interesting thing about shooting them in wild Montana surrounds is the vegitation and terrain closely resembles Siberia. This 400 pound female was feeling a little playful when she got to spend some time in this big outdoor enclosure. She batted her 200 lb handler around like a rag doll. Her play-toy was a boot on a rope.

It is estimated that 360–406 still exist in the wild.

Great shot Steve. The impression this "look" gives, is that the cat is sizing up a potential meal. Techs look good to me also.

Excellent Steve. I like the looking around the bush, provides tension in the picture, not seeing the other eye, the intended affect. Great motif shot as well. Thanks for posting your work in WILDLIFE.

Very good. I like the "stalking" mood of this tiger. Sharpness and color excellent.
