Vermont Foliage and Sheep, Underhill, VT

This was taken last week while Heather and I visited her home state of Vermont for fall foliage and snow geese, as well as to spend some time with her family. We met with a couple of friends for lunch who recommended we visit this area as it seamed to be peaking more than some.

This is my first attempt at a multi-image panoramic and I am amazed at what the stitching software can do. Of course I learned some important lessons already but I am looking forward to playing around with this technique some more.

EOS 10D, EF 17-35/2.8L, 1/60 @ F22, ISO 200, PhotoStitch.

What beautiful colors! I like the added depth the distant mountain gives as well as the little sheep tucked in the corner. I always enjoy seeing "stitched" shots and if this is any hint of what's to come- I can't wait! :)

Love the colors and the pastoral sense. The blue sky is a nice off-set for the trees, and the divot area in the foreground with the tree cluster is a nice focal point for the eye.

Nice pastoral scene. Was it a bit windy that day? The leaves appear to have a bit of motion blur.
