Greg Downing at his own Bosque workshop 2002

I had been instructed by a friend prior to going to Bosque that I needed to shoot out of the box. I figured I wanted to try something besides the pan blurs of the birds so I tried some ZOOM blurs and as the birds did not cooperate, I got the crazy bird-Greg to stand and flap his arms while i tried variations of zomming in and out. My side hurt for 2 days from all the laughing we did that day.

Canon D60, Canon 100-400 zooming 400-100 (i think that was the direction I was using), 1/15 @f/20, ISO 200.

EJ,

Do you have any shots of Greg after he has flooded his waders? - You could call it Leaky Greg!!!! And I am sure someone has shots that would qualify as 'Sneaky' Greg!

Maybe it's because I just woke up and my head is still fuzzy but this banter is cracking me up. Cute shot Cheryl!

To bad there wasn't a shaking my head emoticon... :)

When I saw streaky, I was thinking something else...

Anyway, I would have liked the zoom effect centered on his face.

Very creative Cheryl and I remember it well. Tell me to stand in a field and wave my arms in the air and I am there.

BTW Two can play this game...

It was definitely a case of the instructor going out of his way to make sure the student got the shot she wanted!!!
