The images of birds landing (Avian motif) reminded me of this. I fly a paraglider, and one of my fondest memories flying was hovering in ridge lift with some hawks at Palos Verdes, Los Angeles. Unfortunately the launch site is now the 18th hole, or was till that part of the cliff fell into the ocean and not available to launch any more.
Anyway, paragliding, feleing the wind in your face while sitting below your wing is the closest I can get to feeling like a bird. This is really an element of man, and a feeling of "Avia". D60, 28-135IS@135, ISo 200, 1/250@f14 Steve Bein
