Frank Gehry's Millenium Park band shell will be opening soon and will be an icon to shoot in Chicago. It's a short walk from my office, so I need to start experimenting. I think there should be many different opportunities with varying light. I think the gulls echo's of the sails and wings of the band shell hold promise. I desaturated this shot and cropped slightly. Suggestions welcome, so I can work on this subject.

Not sure what you are trying to do here. Doesn't do much for me.

This works well for me. Nice use of graphical patterns, repeated patterns and monochromatic dynamic range. The gull adds an interesting touch and does a good job of showing the two important elements...man and nature. I give this a thumbs up.
