The British Deer Society has launched a photography competition to mark it's 40th anniversary. The competition is open to both amateur photogrphers and pros from anywhere in the world. Images of any species will be accepted. Full details may be obtained from http://www.bds.org.uk

Good luck.

Thanks for the info Phil, i downloaded the rules and forn for entry into PS6 and its way too small to read. Tried downloading from current location and to save to disc. Is it me, or the way they have it set up?

Any help would be great,

Robert,

You shouldn't have any trouble downloading the rules and entry form: both are Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) files. If you are still having trouble let me know and I will email them to you.

The terms and conditions worried me a bit. I seem to recall that they had rights to use pix outside of the scope of the competition, worth checking the small print.

Update from competition rules just so that you are aware:

9. The sponsors and organizers reserve the right, without further payment, to
reproduction and exhibition in all media, of entries for use only within the context of
publicity for this competition and in the case of the British Deer Society to store
images electronically to further the aims of the Society
. Any use outside these
objectives will be subject to the photographers’ permission. Copyright remains with
the photographer at all times.

I'm not saying that this is unreasonable, up to each individual to decide whether they are happy with this :?:
