Dick,

I am a lillte confused by your labeling everything as being from the cutting room floor, in the editing room that denotes the scene being cut or deleted and no good. Is that what your are trying to say? I am liking a lot of your shots from the cutting room floor.

Hi, Bob--

This was explained on the Photography Topics forum.

The origin is a discussion about how we decide what to keep and what to toss. All of the images "from the cutting room floor" are those which didn't make the initial cuts made after a shoot (usually where other images appeared more compelling) yet weren't immediately consigned to the trash bin, either. Occasionally, some of those shots turn out to be pretty worthwhile afterall.

Dick,

This is the only shot from your cutting room floor series that does not work for me. While the light is great, the pose is very awkward and makes her look fat IMHO.
