Happy Holidays everyone! Best wishes for good light, cooperative birds and wildlife, safe travels and spectacular photos in the coming year!

I'm really undecided about this shot. It was taken after dark on a moonless night last year, with some blown highlights and blocked shadows. Canon Elan 7e, 28-135 IS, Provia. All critiques appreciated! Thanks!

Kelly, this is definitely an interesting shot! It looks sort of like an alien colored light/snow monster ... but in a good way. :) I think you get extra points for seeing this.
