I spend alot of time with falconers. This was a capture of a young harris hawk just before landing.

Canon 1D, 28-105 lens, F6.3, 1/1600 sec, ISO 200

Beautiful bird and strng pose. A bit of FF might have added a bit more highlights on the chest but still an imposing image.
