Grass seeds

The birds decided they didn't want me to come too close the other morning, so I decided to shoot some subjects that were more willing to stick around.

EOS5, 300 f/4 IS + 1.4x, 1/500 or so @ f/5.6, Astia 100.

Birds smirds. Who needs 'em. You got grass. Very nice simple grass.

I can only echo what others have said. This is very simple and elegant, and the smooth background gradations are a bonus.

A simple, elegant idea executed very well. The grass has nice detail while the background is pleasantly blurred. The arrangement of the two stalks is well chosen. I'd either crop or clone the stuff in the bottom though which I think detracts from the simplicity.
