Still another from the STL workshop in Jasper in early November. The look in his eyes while licking his chops cracks me up.

That is certainly a funny look. Seriously, I really like the snowy elements in this one including the falling snow and that on the horns.. Thanks for posting..

I agree with Dennis. This is a groovy image--it exudes COLD.

Too bad it's on film. 8)

Hey Kelly,

Looks maybe 2/3 under exposed to me. As always, the snow really enhances the scene.

Cheers

Yup, he is dark. He was OK in Photoshop, but something happened when saving for the web. Sorry about that.

I like both versions. The darker one looks very cold, like time to head indoors cold.

Cool shot still a bit dark and now low in contrast as well as a strong blue shift due to the overcast condition but other than that an excellent capture that shows the funny things they do with their jaws well - I also like the snow on the horn a lot.

Great shot kelly- the 2nd post is much improved! I'd bet he was chewing his cud.

When I shoot Dall sheep, its almost a challenge sometimes to get them with their jaws in a normal position.

It doesn't look cold, it looks normal to me! Doesn't everyone like to have snow 6 months of the year? 8)

I like the repost better than the original. It is a nice image. Love the snow on the horn. I think it would benefit from a slight boost in contrast. Thanks for sharing.
