I shot this maple this fall in the Grandafther Mountain area of North Carolina. I hope it doesn't lose too much in the web presentation. Are you bothered by the very edges of the tree being cut off?

Nikon N90s, 24-120 at 24 mm, moose polarizer, tripod, exposure not recorded.

Hammer away! Comments/critiques always appreciated.

Lori, Very nice! The contrasting, vivid colors are wonderful. I don't mind the clipped tree at all.

I am absolutely not bothered by the tree being cut off. I do wish I could see this without the web compression though. Nice job layering the composition. As an afterthought, it might could stand a slight bit of warming up.

Great placement of the maple - the edges being cut off aren't a problem at all.

Nice composition with the rock in the foreground and the conifer in the back. I'd prefer to have a bit more room on the sides to get all of the leaves.

I'll bet this looks a whole lot better with a larger file. I've noticed that most of my images with reds seems to require more compression.
