I tried to post this a bit ago but it never appeared...I hope it is not in some random and incorrect forum...

This is kind of a first for me... a landscape....with a vista this nice it is hard not to give it a shot...

This is Mt. Pyramid in Jasper National Park. I was with the STL group shooting wildlife and we were coming back from some great sites along Maligne Lake Road when this view of the mountain came along...

Your comments are appreciated.

Nikon D100, 80-400VR @ 80mm, handheld, 1/800@F8, ISO 200, 2 image merge in PS elements, minor cropping

Jeff,

Very powerful! I like the pano crop and the placement of the trees to the right. Might try to hold back the blues a bit to reduce the cast though...
I like it!

Great shot, love the foreground elements (trees) and the pano crop really works!

One of my favorite mountains in the Canadian Rockies (too bad they had to put a MW tower on top). A very nice shot!

I agree E.J. and as you noticed, I also decided that the tower should not be there...although at this resolution it was very hard to see... :-)

Thank you....

Jeff, Very nice pano! I like the foreground trees that give it some depth.

Jeff,

I love it! The trees on the right complete the image, providing a sense of scale.

Best,

Chas

LOL, looks like this is one of those "Stop the car :P " images. Just kidding, read your post under the photo! This is very nice, excellent composition with a very cold winter feel to it.
