Took this picture last week on Sanibel Island just after the hurricane had passed through. There are a pair on Sanibel Island and they had built a nest last spring but since that time no one had spotted them. Last week I saw the pair mating twice and then was able to capture this image. We were thrilled to know that they were back.
Nikon D2X 1/800 F8 Aperture Priority ISO 200 Focal length 600mm No flash. All comments are very much appreciated. judylynn
