I took this last weekend while I was up in New York State at Harriman State Park. I'm fairly new to bird photography and hadn't seen this bird before. I only wish this were as sharp as the photo Chris Kayler took because I really love the colors of the backround and branches. As has been pointed out these birds don't stay still very long and I was using a monopod and not my tripod. I also realize the backround isn't as clean as it could be, but again this is part of the habitat. This is about a 30% crop, Canon Rebel XT with 400 f5.6, 1/500s, f/5.6 at iso 400. BTW, this is my second post on the forum. Thanks for looking,
