My photographs aim at being true, not at being beautiful because, what is true is most often beautiful.

When I first saw this, I felt something was working against me. Looking at it again, I think the fact that the roots of the right-most tree are visible is what's giving me the twist.

However, that's an important part here - without it I would have no connection to the trees in the back. That visible ground takes me into the frame and almost leaves me there.

Interesting to see a vertical when much of your other posts have been horizontal.

What a pleasant image. Makes me want to walk right up between the two FG trees and see what else is there.

I like this one. I am wrestling with a slight crop from the left or not.

I like the framing and the sun on the foreground moss. It might have been better if the lighting on the background had been less intense for a lower contrast, but you seem to have done a good job of handling the lighting you found.

Looks like a nice place to take a walk. I like this one quite a bit.
