Most of the lion "hunts" that I've seen consist of the lion(s) waiting patiently for prey to stumble into their trap. In this case, three young males, presumably brothers or half brothers, were waiting just after dawn for a solitary cape buffalo that was slowly grazing his way toward them. Ultimately he spotted them and ambled off and after a half-hearted chase the three amigos went back to waiting. I've actually only one shot with the OOF grass and many without the grass, but I prefer the grass framing his face (or at least all the grass except the one at his chin).
