Fish at the Miami Metro-Zoo Aviary Pond (King Fishers have to eat)
When used with the proper housing the D1x is a great camera to shoot fish with, in this case the housing was the whole building and it's glass walls, no underwater housing was used for this shot!!, Although I was tempted to say that the new D2H was pretty much waterproof , I, ran the risk of being sued by Tony Medici down the line!!!
D1x, Raw,70-200mm afs-VR+2X. FL=140mm, Manual exposure,1/500sec SS-f/5.6, EV=-0.7, ISO=125, Flash D-TTL.
Any comments or reposts are always welcome!!

Cool image and as usual a very funny commentary to boot... waterproof D2H is hilarious!

Nicely done Alex. I don't think I've ever seen a green background on a fish portrait before.

Very nice. That wireless download with the new D2H would be handy for underwater--no need ever to take it out of the housing! I think Tony should try it as soon as his arrives! ;)

This is incredible...especially shooting through the glass...and with flash. The green makes for a wonderful BG and the colors and detail are perfect...as always. Make sure that you get a picture of Tony underwater when he tries out his new D2H....I'm sure everyone will be waiting for that one. :D :D :D
