Sorry i realise this is the second lbr post of the day but could you get bored of these guys? i think this may even be my first picture posted here!!! it is a bit intimidating you know- your all very good.

this was taken in Ethiopia where i ahve been for the last 2 months studying 2 very cool endemics; the ethiopian bushcrow and white tailed swallow- i may post some bushcrow later. If anyone has the chance- go to ethiopia, v. friendly and extremely amazing birdlife- i was in Yabelo- very accessable and you are guarenteed views of the endangered bushcrow which are very approachable. Thanks for llooking,
Sand

ps sorry i dont have the shooting details handy

never tired of these guys. Great backround..maybe a 20% crop off the right side and put back some more territory at the bottom. Thanks for the info on ethiopia ....would love to here more and see more birds from there.

An interesting bird ...
Would place the bird a little more to the right and still keeping it off centered.
I see magenta cast.

Great shot of a beautiful bird!

I agree with, KK about the cast. I brought this in to PS and after removing it the image really "pops".

Thanks for sharing!

Hi Sand, I love rollers they are amazing birds. You got a nice specimen in here! Nice colors and pose.
I agree with KK's suggestion. I also think a vertical works better in here although I wish for a bit more room top and bottom.
