This Brown Shrike (Lanius cristatus), swooping from the same perch, caught a dragonfly and ate it for breakfast shortly before this pic was taken.

The meal must not be filling, as it continued to hunt in the rain.

350D + Sigmonster (Sigma 300-800 DG), 731 mm, f/8, ISO 400, 1/50 sec

I too like the raindrops. I can feel how this bird seems to be huddled to stay dry. Nicely done! :D
