I shot this great egret yesterday about 3:40 PM on the east end of my yard where the birds congregate until it cools off later in the afternoon. Sometimes five or six species are in this small, shady area at once. Ducks, egrets, and herons are the most common congregants.
Nikon D2x, 500 AF-S f4, 1/200th @ f11 Manual mode, ISO 400, SB-800 manual exposure 1/2 power fill, Better Beamer. |
