A different look to a flight shot than just with a blue sky, it's growing on me the more I look at it. 25% of original.

Love the wing position ...
This is excellent despite the hefty crop, Mike!

I much prefer this to a plain blue sky BG.

I agree with the others about the background. Lots of detail under the wings - was this from fill flash?

Very nice Mike. Great BG too. Too bad it's 25% of original though.. if you were able to get closer and get a full frame image with just a plain green bg, that would be so sweet. I'll shutup now... :D

:) Bravo, Good Buddy! The wing and head position is perfect. Nice exposure. The only hang up I see with the background is the dark areas of the willet don't pop as much, but the bonus is this is more of an environmental image.

Thanks,

Mike,

Beautiful flight shot. It's great to see him against a background that we don't usually see.

:) Artistic color, position & composition. The blue in the background moves you throughand around back to the Willet. Very creative and eye pleasing! :o San Diego Deb
