I was amazed at the number of spoonies visible from the boat as you pass snake bite creek in the glades. The mud flats there are to treacherous to walk or crawl on as you can sink into 3 feet of mud. so I was forced to shoot handheld from the edge of the flats....since I had to shoot with a 400 5.6L and a 1.4x TC from a boat, my images did not come out sharp as I would have liked. But no need to send them to the delete bin....I send them to the digital art directory

LOL, digital art directory huh :D  , good onya mate :D . Well you would never know Mike looking at this. Wonderful effect again and hey, you got some funny names for creeks up there Mike, I wouldn't go anywhere near it  Nice work and the soft frame works well. Love the colours in this. How tall would they be Mike ???, we don't have them here.

this one was probably 15 inches tall. While the creek and the nearby trail are called snakebite....the more appropriate name would be mosquito bite :P

Dan, the spoonies get taller, I've seen some 2 feet high and they can grow as tall as 32 inches....the one's I saw that day weren't that tall...younger birds...the tall ones only come out for Fab and Mr. Hugh....
