One day, I saw the aloe plant. I experimented with the then new to me NIkon 80-200 f2.8, wide open, probably an N90. film forgotten and lost in the process of mohlerization. Shortly thereafter, my father passed away. I used this image on the card sent out in rememberance since he had planted the plant many years ago and I had not noticed it till then. It has special meaning to me.

What a beautiful, vibrant image Steve, full of colour and life. I am sure he loves it and it is a lovely rememberance until you reunite in the next life.

A well crafted image and touching sentiment. It appears however to be Coral Bean. Not to worry, I mis ID stuff all the time.

Harvey,
the plant seems to have the leaves of an aloe. What do coral bean leaves look like?
I have since rented the house out and the current tenant tore out the plants without asking me for permission. Life moves on. I will have them replace the plants when the lease is over.

I don't think Coral Bean plants even have beans. Those are the leaves of the Coral bean per se. However here's a photo of an Aloe plant that I just "borrowed" from the National Geographic. I have similar pictures of my own with their flowers.

Harvey,
The leaves match your aloe leaves as posted.
Thanks,
