Maybe not the best of shots but this house has always conveyed the "abandoned" feel to me. It sits about 3 miles from my house and has been uninhabited for the past 15 years. While I was growing up it was the subject of many Halloween stories. That one little tree always looks to be pruned... All comments are welcome. Thanks for looking!

I like this Laura. I am always intrigued by abandoned houses and this has a good feel to it. It certainly piques my curiousity. I like the distance between you and the house. I think it creates a certain sense of unapproachability. (Is that a word) :?: Looks like there might be some cool stuff growing around the property. I also like the open sky in the BG.

There really are! This house sits on over 40 acres of overgrown land, a creek runs next to the property, and railroad tracks border it to the east. There are tons of wildflowers and wildlife all over the place. :)

Thanks for the comments!

Nice Laura. You ought to try shooting it at night on a full moon.
