Went out this morning to photograph a few things at one of my local parks. Much to my disappointment the gates to the park were locked as i sat and watched tons of ground fog rolling across many landscape subjects i would have loved to taken photos of. I waited it out and went in when it opened.

Found this one tree with tall brown grass surrounding it and in the grass were many leaves stuck from there fall. This is one image i took of the scene and i have a few more ill be posting later.

As always, your comments and critiques are very welcome and appreciated!!

Thanks much,
robert...........

An elegant and pleasing image. My only nit is the OOF stems in-front of the leaf. They are a little distracting.

Robert...I like the image without the leaf :). I've seen so many photos here in the last few weeks with a single leaf that it's become somewhat of a cliche but the image stands very well with that element missing :D

Hi Robert. I really like the neutral tones in this one. I think this is very effective!

I love this photo, Robert, very well seen and executed. My favorite part is the combination of sharp and OOF grass and how it works together to fill the frame, and I think the leaf is perfectly placed in the frame and adds just the right focal point to the image. Very nicely done.

I really like this - the mix of focus in the grass is awesome.

I like this a lot Robert, love the colours and the slender grass stems - it would work for me with, or without the leaf.
