Taken about 20 minutes before sundown.

Canon Rebel 300D
Canon IS 75-300mm w/extension
Canon 420EX pointed towards white reflector 7-10ft away
Mirror pointed towards subject on left side
Dodge/burn tool used in PS on spent bloom of the weed to even out
Levels/curves in PS to bring back richness of color originally seen in the camera
Image

Feeling a little guilty because it is getting increasingly hard for me to keep up with the number of post/responses in this forum. Hope to catch up a bit later, ..... I hope!

May be starting a new job here soon, and I surely will be limited then!

Take care everyone, and thanks for looking!
Mike

Hey MB, glad you made it over from LS( )...I like this one a TON better then the last one.. Maybe I just like the upright traditional appearance rather then down directed. I think the quality of the light is nicer, with a spotlight effect in the background, and the cobwebbing is but icing on the cake. Another great image... Keep em coming..

Mike,

I really like the light on this. The spotlight effect you achieved is wonderful. Great background colors too. :)

Nice spotlighting your subject here. Simple but very effective.

This is a cool image. Doesn't sound as simple to make as it looks.

You are certainly plucking these weeds from obscurity and putting them in the fame spotlight Mike!

Another simple but very effective image.
