You seem to have a flair for this Macro shooting Alma! Good composition with the diagonal stems and excellent detail in the little insect (I'll leave ID to those that know) :D Love the irridescence in the wings. 8) 8) 8) :D

Wonderful, strongly graphical setting for this fly. Nice one!

Well, I don't think that you are lost in the world of macro at all! In fact, ........ right at home would be more like it!! :)

I like this shot just fine.
It seems that you have good detail on the head, lose it in and around the middle, then regain it at the back end of the fly. So it seems that the fly's back was humped upwards a bit and throwing the focus/depth out a little bit.
Still, .......... this is fine.

Good details where you need it most, very nice comp.
It did seem to be a bit washed in its lighting, so I checked it in PS and adjusted it slightly in levels to where it should have been.
Hope you don't mind me playing with the image, as the adjustment seems to give it a little overall punch to it.

Good shot, I do like Michael's rework, and agree with his comments. Keep up the good work. What settings did you use?

Wonderful shot. Micheal beat me to the contrast adjustment to punch it up a little.
