Taken earlier this year.
Not much of a habitat shot which I like to do with Harriers. So, I decided with this beauty and BG I'd try a pano....What do you think?

Canon 20D 500/4 IS w/1.4X TC
ISO 200
1/200 @ f8
Manual Exposure
580EX, BB exp. comp. -2/3

Your comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks for looking :D
Ken

A excellent capture, Ken!
Great bg as you said. The pano crop doesn't do much for me. May go for a tight crop with the norm aspect ratio instead ...

Great shot and I love the pano! I like it because there is no wasted space on the bottom so it helps you focus on the main subject and where he/she is flying into.

I agree with you that it is nice to include habitat with harriers, especially when the bird is posed looking down, as this one is. This also works for me, though :D .

I like the pano which gives the bird lots of room to fly in to. The background is nice, I like a little texture without much definition like this. The warm colors of the bird stand out well against the cool background. Well done.

I like it as is. Pano crop gives me the sense of the bird's flight and its search for sustenance.

I like this and think the shot would work well cropped also. Nice and simple - good job.
