I've been cooped up inside studying for the CFA in June, but I needed a break (again) so I posted something from our vacation to Sanibel. One of hte drives through Ding Darling, we found this cooperative Red Shouldered Hawk, with somewhat worn feathers...

Camera Model: Canon EOS 20D, Lens:500MMISF/4, TC1.4xII, Exposure mode: Manual using incident, Shutter speed: 1/250 sec, Aperture: 10, ISO: 400.

Please let me know what you think.

Very interesting leaning pose on one foot and calling(yawning?) The colors look a bit flat as posted, maybe an s-curve in curves or some more saturation would help. Really an interesting composition.

Strange pose - I would hit it with some levels, otherwise nice.

Ditto on the curves and/or levels suggestions. Otherwise very nice.
