Hello NatureScapers...

This is a Canadian Lynx kitten, about 20 weeks old. The kitten had just been delivered to the Triple D ranch from a facility in Minnesota. The Shoot the Light group was the first to film this particular animal at Triple D... A great deal of time seems to be devoted to forming a bond between one of the trainers and each individual animal as they grow up. The trust that develops between the person and the animal seems to be what makes the filming sessions successful.

This kitten was just starting to get used to one of the trainers but mostly held back. After a very short period of time, the kitten showed behavioral signs of stress and the filming was immediately stopped. The owner said he would comp our group for this session as it was short and minimally productive but his primary concern was for the animal's welfare. I found this attitude admirable.

In the very short time we were able to observe this kitten, I was thankful for the opportunity to see this kitten and to make a few images.

Thanks for looking and any comments or suggestions.

Beautiful colors, again, to set off this kitten. I'm glad the welfare of the kitten was primary concern! Wonderful as usual Dennis.

Dennis,

I am glad you were able to get a few shots of this adorable kitten. I am waiting to get my slides back. I too was very impressed with triple ds concern and care for all of their animals. Very nice shot BTW.

Another beautiful shot from you Dennis, this shoot has really given you an impressive collection of images to add to your excellent portfolio!!

One thing that really shows up in these pictures is that the gorgeous Autumn colours give a superb added boost as BG to these wonderful animals.

Stunning collection of shots.

Dennis, I was also very impressed with their concern for all the animals welfare. Putting the animals first is not the norm these days. Had it been any different we would not be retuning!

You captured a very nice image, of our little mosquito like friend.

Best,

Chas

Another gorgeous shot Dennis. I really enjoy the way the kitten stands out from the environment while still being partially obscured. The fall colors are beautiful. This sounds like a terrific place.

I gotta get one of those :D . I love the look of feline faces. This one looks sagacious and intense. Really A-one shot of a beautiful cat.

Fantastic shot, Dennis, once again looks like it could have been done in a studio due to the perfect setting and lighting. You guys sure look like you had perfect lighting conditions for shooting in the woods.
