This was a challenging shot to get due to the lack of isolation. My delight in this shot is the reflection of the pose by the cub of the mom's pose, which mimicks the taking over of her place in nature to come in the future. The shot was close on the left with the mother bear's back at the side of the frame, I cloned in a slight extra on the left for room.

Whites are exposed perectly and you couldn't ask for a more unique double profile.

Nice work SB. As mentioned above, perfect exposure and symmetry.

Cool! Initially found the lack of more of the cub's head disconcerting, but it really does retain interest just as it stands. (And the contrast between this shot and the implicit environment vs. your other shot is hilarious!)

Steve,

I love it. Great repetition in the cubs nose. Exposure dead on as well.

Interesting angle- it certainly grabs your attention. I like the details on the feet also- they sure have huge paws.

Excellent exposure- sure wish my white sheep all looked that good.

Fantastic shot Steve, just love it.

When we get bored of Africa, we'll definitely head up here :)

Steve, Very nice. The symmetry is very unusual. The left edge looks a bit jagged - maybe a few pixels were missed in the cloning.
