Shot this with him on a perch near the feeder. At first I didn't like that I couldn't see the whole bird, but the image has grown on me a little. What do you think? D70, 300mm f4 ED IF, Kenko 1.4x teleconverter, SB-800.

There is enough separation between the bird and background. The stuff at the bottom seems somewhat heavy for the subject, I think I'd prefer a smaller perch.

A tight crop to eliminate most, if not all, the fuzzy bits below may work with this one, Chris! :roll:

I agree with KK about the "fuzzy bits". :?: :mrgreen: I can see why its growing on you. It has a calm restive feel to it.
