Wow that's close! I like all the detail and the head-on view is different. Too bad about the oof branch at the bottom.

Would crop 1/4 off from bottom to put back the focus on the head itself ...

A very nice shot of one of my favorite subjects. You've got to be quick to get a shot of one of these guys as they never seem to stop moving.

Incredible closeup Dave! Good work. Was this at a feeder or did you locate them and just 'sit and wait'? :D The fg is pretty distracting but cropping above it makes it feel too cramped. Great detail on this.

I will certainly give more room with my edit. Thank you all for the composition recommendation. Mike, this was shot just outside a doorway to a blind - maybe a pace or 2. For some reason, they didn't seem concerned with the camera glued to my face. ;) those hams
