Had a great day shooting with Chris Kayler saturday. Thanks for the perch Chris.... and the hand warmers!

20D, 500mm +1.4 TC, f 6.3. 1/160,ISO 200, FF -1, slight crop.

All comments and suggesitions are welcome!!

Great shot, Doug. Super Bird, BG and comp. Agree, a little more DOF would have been nice, but it's still one to be proud of.

The beak looks a little OOF, but other than that it is wonderful. Nice detail around the eye. Thanks for sharing.

I thought so too Bob,when I first looked at it, but it is an optical illusion because of the grey color at the tip of the bill, the full pixel version it is sharp at a tack. :D
