This image was taken in 2004. I just bought my first digital camera and went to try it out. I don't recall if it was the first time but was at around the time I bought the camera. The Swans left from LaSalle already this year.

Terrific capture Karl. The large view is brilliant. Just goes to show how good that 10D was.

This will do beautifully, Karl!  Great action shot with the wing flapping and flying water, and its good to see a swan image again - especially with such excellent detail as this one.  I loved my 10D, and still got it in my collection.  :)

You did a nice job exposing the whites at the time and the detail is Good.
Focus and exposure never get out dated.

Great dynamic pose, Karl, and it's been a while that the 10D was released. I just looked it up, it was 2003 with a 6.3 MP sensor.

A good image is that way, whether it was taken to-day or twenty years ago- many outstanding images from you, Karl, over those years... where does the time go!

Thanks, Carol.
I think sometimes that I should have kept most of my cameras especially the early ones as I got only pocket change when I traded in or sold them.

Great action shot, Karl!
EOS 10D rocks and it was my first DSLR way back in Mar 2003.
