Went to a familiar macro site but was somewhat dismayed to see it cordoned off for urban development. Still, there was a small section near the fence where some macro "business" could be conducted.
Saw a few things and this pair of mating flesh flies was one of them. With such subject, the usual approach is using flash, and handhold. Was glad to be able to use AF to get the 2 flies in focus too. AF might not work for all of the shots, but with some luck some of them will work out. 90D, 180Tamron, M mode,1/200 sec, f13, iso400, ETTL -2/3, AF, image rotated and cropped tighter around the subject, handhold approach. Clicking on the image seems to produce a slighly smaller but better quality view. Common subject type but hope its an interesting view. Comments welcomed. IMG_6637-#2-1024pix by Darren, on Flickr |
