A visit to Bempton Cliffs last year was another fantastic experience. So many photogenic Gannets and a few Puffins were on display, and it was a joy to behold. Here we see a young Gannet(possibly around 3 years old) with its piano key wing feathers that highlights that it is maturing into an adult Gannet.

A lovely capture of this juvenile, Peter - it really shows the difference from the sleek all white (apart from black wing tips) adult plumage.

Great banking pose soft light, Peter. Interesting to see the black eye, I read an article that Gannets who survived the bird flu have this dark eye color now.

A fine in-flight image, Peter. Quite an attractive plumage for the juvenile Gannet.
