M81 or Bodes Galaxy, is a spiral galaxy in Ursa Major, imaged for 44 hours over 5 nights in my backyard with an askar 103 scope and asi533mc camera.
Effective focal length 1900mm. M81 is 11.6 million light years away and about the size of our own Milky way. Very difficult target to process for me. PP mostly in Pixinsight. Click on Image for larger view. |
