Usually in late Winter-early Spring, there are some migratory waterfowl who stop over briefly at a small lake-marsh, near my home. Only a pair of Hooded Mergansers seen on that day, but great to be out on that fine day.

They are such characters and you have captured that beautifully here Paul! Lovely eye level view.

Great low angle, water colors and good-looking Merganser, Paul.

Nice view with her crest up! We've had a few here too...some stay when conditions are right. Love these little ducks.

Nice head on shot. Getting shots is secondary. IMO. Being out especially Winter time on a nice day is the main goal.
