Encountered this brief mating behaviour for these 2 butterflies.
The body contortion to get to shoot the pair is rather excruciating but I am glad I at least get a record of it.
1/200, f13, 90D, 180Canon, ETTL -2/3, Manual focussing, handholding approach, slight crop.
Wish the bg is uniform smooth type but the environment makes it impossible.
Still, for what its worth, just sharing, Comments welcome.

Nice sighting Darren. Done well considering the body contortion needed.

Fine capture - I can only imagine how you had to bend to get it!

Good find and excellent capture of the happy pair Darren!  The background doesn't bother me - you find them where you find them.  I hope you recovered from your contortions and aren't still in a knot.  :(
