I went to the same place, yesterday early morning (Dickson Wilderness Area) and I was the only human there and lots Birds, mostly Am. Sparrows.
My friend showed up shorty after my arrival in his favorite little tree.

Another excellent image of this species, Karl. It sounds like the Dickson Area is a good location for birds- perhaps it will be productive in the Springtime for migrants.

Thanks, Paul. It is a good place but Point Peele is better. I will try to check out both in migration time.

Smashing shot Karl, and such a boon to have your friend turn up with so few people about. Sounds heavenly.

Sounds just right - nature, wildlife and no people.  :)   A lovely image of your tiny friend, Karl.
