another old image that I've never shared before.
Maybe these are some kind of flower heads before opening?
When I see them, my first thought is give it a shallow dof treatment.
Just a fun share.

90D, 90mm Tamron, f4, 1/80,iso1000, probably AP mode, handhold, no crop.

Hope its interesting and comments feel free,

Nicely done Darren. The fly gives it just that bit more interest to hold our eyes. Thanks for sharing.

Strange plant, it looks almost like flesh rather than plant but an interesting subject for your minimalist shallow dof Darren!

The fly does the trick! I find this photo quite interesting. The flower heads (?) seem to be reaching out in such a dramatic way- they look a bit surreal, almost scary!

Thanks Cynthia. Yes seen in a certain way it can even
seem spooky/surreal/ominous.....

Love it when imagination is triggered.
