Nice to see six legs instead of eight and this is a beautiful image of a pretty little skipper Darren! Excellent work.

Thanks Tom, David and Carol for weighing in.....thanks the editors for picking my humble image....always an honour....in truth I like macro which capture more of the surroundings, and shows the creatures in a more restful state.

Carol, let's have some fresh themes. ;)

Just lovely-sweet to see the little skipper atop that big plant-curious what it is. Congrats on your EP.

Thanks Axel. It seems to work fairly well vertically, and there was not
much foliage behind the plant, so bg is smooth....the rest is just up to
the skipper how they choose to pose.;)

Thanks for weighing in!

Love the comp, light, perch, and bg (even if the bg isn't your preferred style). What in the world is that Skipper? I'm pretty good at IDing butterflies in areas I'm familiar with, but that seriously limits my exposure (no pun intended) and, therefore, knowledge.
