Excellent colours showing here, Karl. Nice contrast between the water's colour and those of the bufflehead. The bubbles are an "extra," which adds to the image, as well.

Beautiful colours Karl. Tricky with the light sometimes as its sometimes too contrasty for some subjects. Not a critique, more an acknowledgement. The bubbles are cool, although they burn my curiosity.

Not an easy bird to get right especially in difficult light - but you did well here with showing off the rainbow colours and iridescence on this little beauty, Karl. The bubbles add a very nice extra element!

Ditto - love the bubbles. Spectacular bird - can imagine that correct exposure is tricky.
