CANON R7
CANON 100-500RF @ 451mm F 6.3 @ 1/200 ISO 250 This Cooper's hawk had rotated his ( or her's) head, one-hundred and eighty degrees, while looking for any prey approaching.( This is a "wild hawk", as opposed to one photographed at a raptor centre, and was not baited, which I understand is used at times to attract the hawk(s), closer to the photographer). They usually arrive in November, and by March have gone north to their breeding grounds. Always special to see one, and try for a few images. Province of Ontario, Canada, image- January 2024. Thanks to everyone for viewing Click on for best image. |
