Metallic Starlng

A pair of Metallic Starlings (Aplonis metallica) above their nest which is hanging below the branch. These migrate to the region from New Guinea in the wet season to breed, in large, noisy colonies.

ISO 2500, 600mm, f6.5, 1/1000, on a1.

Excellent image, with a great setting, Greg. Like the other commentators, I too find the eyes ( colour), to be a highlight here.
