Mabel Orchard Orb Weaver
Leucauge argyrobapta Not one of the big garden spiders, these little guys have a legspan of maybe a nickel to a quarter. They hang in the shade, but when some light hits them they really pop. I found this one deep in a ravine in S. TX. 5D IV 100-400 4.5-5.6 L IS II (+extension - maybe?) f/13, 1/100, ISO 5000 Hand held, natural light Comments and suggestions always welcome. |
