Tiny fly dorsal view

Went out rather late hoping to get rid of the inertia.
Saw this tiny weenie fly on a blade of grass. It was positioned in such a way
next to a drain that the only feasible shot was a dorsal view.
Even though some think dorsal views are amateurish, I do find a fly's design from this perspective visually engaging somehow....
Eyes are not the sharpest...
Canon90D,Tamron 90, 1/200, f11, handheld, flash somewhat diffused, image heavily cropped around the subject.
Some denoise using Topaz software.
Hope u enjoy the view for what its worth. Comments welcomed.

Irrespective of what "some people might think", it is quite remarkable to see this. Nice to see the Tamron 90 in good use. TFS. (works for me Darren).

Interesting directional light and fine wing and body detail. Looks really good to me! No nits about the eyes from me, that’s not what this image is about.
