Bee Assassin Bug. Yes, I am told they do eat bees. Long story is that I came in from the garden and noticed a large bug on my arm. I shook it off to find that it was this bee assassin bug that followed me in from my outside work. Well, I got a glass, covered the bug, slipped some paper under the bug and glass and took it outside. The bug flew to our storm door screen where it posed for me so I could get some images. After about 5 minutes if flew away. I think it hung around so long as it was stunned with fright after landing on my ugly arm and having to watch my large ugly face as I transported it outside. It will have great stories to tell its grandkids!! Size is about 1 3/4 inches nose to tail.
